Frame Cropping to Change Meaning

Through the utilisation of film cropping different meanings are promoted to the viewers. The close-up version establishes a unification between the two animals and endorses an emotive response in the audience because their faces are directly in front of the viewers. Thus encouraging an intimate connection amongst the audience. The full-frame version does not have as much of a powerful impact on the audience as the animals are further away. Regardless of this, the image still establishes the animals within their natural habitat; it’s just not as effective or emotionally provoking.
